Communication and Media Science courses taught in English

Thinking of a career in communication and media?

Are you active on Facebook?

Do you have a Twitter and Instagram account and a Pinterest board?

Are you keen on writing blogs?

Would you like to know how a news story gains momentum, or how an image or video goes viral?

Are you interested in finding out how an idea from script gets to screen?

If the answer to any of these questions is YES, you should think about earning a degree in communication and media studies.

Budapest Business School’s Faculty of International Management and Business offers full-time and part-time Communication and Media Science courses taught in English.

The 6-semester course focuses on the rapidly changing media landscape, showing the use and the advantages of the most recent developments.
Companies, public administration, cultural institutions and various organisations must constantly be on the look out for how to harness and turn to their advantage the new challenges and opportunities brought about by the infinite trends, tools and platforms for the dissemination of information. They need to know what kind of media and communication strategy will enable them to reach their audiences, to connect with them and build sustainable relationships in the digital era. In this quest, they are aided by international and nationwide marketing, a consumer oriented and cross-media approach, as well as a well-functioning PR.

This combination of theory and practical skills aims to prepare students for various media careers.
